About Me
I am 37 years old. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Houston, TX. I returned to school at age 34 to complete a degree I began at 17. Yes you read that previous sentence right - 17. Part of it was money but most of it was fear. I decided to return to school after realizing that without the degree, I wouldn't be able to get a job doing what I wanted to do the most - Write. I am in my senior year at the University of Houston.
I have already begun the process of searching for jobs within my field and have noticed that most ads want individuals with knowledge of the web and how to create material for it. The term used is convergence. I blog so I am not totally unfamiliar with HTML, but a working knowledge will NOT get you the job. It is my hope that the next 16 weeks give me the experience I need to acquire that skill.
No passion so effectively robs the mind of all its powers of acting and reasoning as fear.
